The color yellow w...No, I don't think there is. The color yellow was used for the lowest grade feasts of confessors. Gold was used as a substitute for the highest feasts of the year. And, the old requirement was that only REAL CLOTH OF GOLD could be used for gold vestments, not the cheap "yellow-gold" cloth used today in most cases.Fr.
