Weekly Dominican Rite Masses for Advent, San Francisco CA

St. Dominic's Church, San Francisco
I am pleased to announce that, during Advent, a Dominican Rite Mass will be celebrated every Monday at 5:30 pm at St. Dominic's Church, 2390 Bush St, San Francisco, California. This parish and priory are staffed by the friars of the Western Dominican Province.

These will all be Low Masses except for the Mass on Monday, December 9, which will be a Solemn High Votive Mass of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, celebrated by Fr. Anselm Ramelow, O,P., professor of philosophy at the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology in Berkeley, California.

I thank Brian Strader for the lovely photography of St. Dominican's Church shown in this post.

Thank you for the tip, Father. I'm in San Francisco for business and attended Mass last night. What a treat! My first Mass in the Dominican Rite was Solemn High and in a wonderful Gothic church. The servers and the choir performed well, while the celebrant delivered a razor-sharp homily. I took some <a href="https://photos.app.goo.gl/CHanXqVVZ25LNZ4Y7>photos,</a> but I was not very close to the sanctuary.
